Got it installed on my MacBook with no trouble....I'm still getting used to the interface tweaks, but every little change is making me happy - it's just got that shiny new feel. :-D

No problems with software so far either...

Only Apple could come up with an OS that is nearly identical to its predecessor, but not! I love the new interface tweaks and the various fixes, as highlighted on Daring Fireball, but I'm not a fan of the folders-as-stacks idea. I like custom folder icons in my Dock...

I've unfortunately not been able to install thw GM. I'm not installing it on my iMac until I can be sure all the software I rely on works, including input managers like Saft. So I tried to install on my mom's Power Mac G5, on which I've played with the beta seeds... and when I try to install, I get to a gray screen with the spinning beachball cursor and nothing else. I suspect it may be a faulty memory problem, so with new RAM ordered I should have things in working order.

I can understand Apple wanting to improve such things as data integrity, but it's also possible that they're checking TOO hard. I certainly hope the new RAM fixes the issue, though, or I'm afraid I'll have to find a hardware test CD for this computer.

I managed to get my copy shipped early - basically "it just works", and I'm having no trouble on my Power Mac G5. I love all the interface refinements - thank you Apple for not making it jarringly different.
