Those of us who can't go due to financial or "can't leave the country because there's no way to get back in" reasons are just watching blogs like this and other media outlets for updates on MacWorld Expo.

Well, nobody's actually going to have live video coverage of the event, but we'll be doing our updates as we do every year thanks to a network of "reporters" out there and there will be a special version of SchwarzTech that day that will automatically reload every few minutes, so you just sit back and watch the show (so to speak).

I can't wait to see the show - how can we watch it live?

Whatever Jobs dishes out will be awesome, that's all I know.

As someone who has a 5G iPod, I agree with "me"'s comment about the AV cable...It just seems that there's more chatter about an iPod that will be primarily aimed at video (as opposed to an iPod that happens to play video).

Mostly agree. iLife and iWork '07; iTV will be announced (and named) but not yet available; no new iPods (this "true video iPod" crap always kills me... a 3-inch screen is not gonna be any better than a 2-inch screen- the killer feature of the 5G iPod is the AV cable, but nobody gets that); no iPhone (there's still no market there). There's a small chance that they'll unveil an ultraportable MBP (11-inch screen, 3.5 lbs).

The key to the Apple site teaser is in its words: the reference to 30 years ago. How did Apple revolutionize the computer industry? What do they do best (even moreso than mp3 players)? The "one more thing" is going to be Leopard - complete, available immedaitely, bundled immediately on all shipping Macs, and handed out to all keynote attendees. It will change the game: blow Vista out of the water and make Linux look like Linux looked five years ago.
