As Apple moves to distance itself from Google, and actually use its map-related acquisitions, 9to5Mac is reporting that iOS 6 will actually use Apple’s own backend, much like the map function in iPhoto.
Today, Apple announced financial results for its fiscal 2012 first quarter ending March 31, 2012. In the conference call, Apple posted quarterly revenue of $39.2 billion and quarterly net profit of $11.6 billion, or $12.30 per diluted share.
