Today Apple updated both the Mac mini and iMac lines, upping speeds and shuffling the lineups. The complete iMac line now features the Intel Core 2 Duo processor (ranging from 1.83GHz up to 2.16GHz). The speed increase is said to be 50% faster than the previous models. The 17″ model is now $999 and a new 24″ model completes the lineup. The minis now feature Core Duo processors (1.66GHz and 1.83GHz) at the same prices. Other than that, the computers remain the same.
