In an unsurprising move about a week after the iPad was released, Apple updated the iPhone and iPod touch to 3.1.3. This update fixes a few minor issues, patches some security holes, but is otherwise run-of-the-mill.
Some of the big points, according to Apple are:
- Improves accuracy of reported battery level on iPhone 3GS
- Resolves issue where third-party apps would not launch in some instances
- Fixes bug that may cause an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard
You can get the update via iTunes, and please note that it will break any jailbreaks and other modifications.

I wonder if this fixes the certification exploit that was announced on cryptopath last week. Didn’t seem clear from either Apples page or cryptopath.
