I just bought a new mac keyboard, but for use with my PC. I love this little slab of aluminium, and I do find that my typing speed is improved as your fingers can move between the keys faster, and the low height and rock solid feel make it just a joy to use.
I miss some of the multimedia keys from the MS keyboard it replaces, but I will just map those up to function keys instead.

The underside does seem to attract the dust of my desk however. I might have to try to keep my disk a little cleaner 8), and I wish there were some small feet at the rear just to lift the back edge up when there is something in the USB ports. Only my smallest MicroSD adapter fits in there without lifting up on corner of the KB.

As simple as this new innovative keyboard seems, using it will change the way you feel about using a desktop computer. It's handsome, minimalist, and I am able to type faster than on any keyboard that has come before.
Apple is the company that we would expect a new and improved item as simple sounding as a keyboard to surface. Try it for ten minutes and there will be no turning back!
Say goodbye to plastic and say hello to happy typing!

I have found the new aluminum keyboard to be rather problematic for touch typists. There is a problem with the way the spacebar is registered, often your thumb will hit the aluminum prior to the key press being registered. (this is a very fine detail that many typists will blame themselves when there are spaces missing in between words).

A slight height change could really help on the space bar. It is a pretty cool looking keyboard, just wish that it worked all the time.

I love mine. Of course, I have a MacBook so I was basically used to it ahead of time. I find the low-profile, short travel keys allow me to speed up my typing, too.
