Now I can dock my iPhone 3G and iPod 5G into the Altec without removing them from their rubber cases. The Dock Extender's rubber cap keeps the iPhone/pod at just the right angle, and enhances its security in the dock. It's a winner! My case is a soft suede case. On the back is a protruding circle botton that u would click onto a belt clip like a cell phone. The button is not removable. The dock I have is onto a TEAC mini stereo. There is not much clearance from the back of the IPOD & the stereo. Do u think it would fit with the case on? Does anyone have the same situation?
